Used to be OK. Now skip it. Way over-priced. Pizza crust is soggy, gooey, under-cooked and tasteless. No sauce or cheese to speak of, no flavor; toppings are skimpy to non-existent and tasteless. Yuk!

I grew up on the east coast in and around Philadelphia. We used to hop on the train and go to NYC for the week end, so Im familiar with "NYC Pizza". When Borriellos started opening up stores their pizza was pretty good (10 years ago), today its utter garbage that would make Dominos seem like the Broadmor. I always limit my order of pizza to either plain cheese (the true NYC test) or the Margarita. Today I called in an order for a large Marg pie. Went to pick it up and its not ready, which is great, it will be hot! Drive .9 miles back to work and open it up. WOW- what a mess. There may have been 1/4 cup of sauce, 3 huge deli slices of Mozz cheese, and get this, 3 tomato slices, cut in 1/2 for a total of 6 tomatoes on a 18" pizza. The basil was fresh, and sliced correctly. The crust was thin and crisp- the sauce tasted like, well, nothing. Sparsely distributed toppings left slices with seriously NO TOPPINGS on them. The sauce was so thin that after baking, half of each slice of pizza was just dry redness. The rest of the order was wings and a salad. The salad had more tomatoes than the pizza, but those items were actually edible. $28 for this eh? Its a sad state of affairs when a place that claims to offer NYC pizza cant even get close to the quality of slice you'd find discarded on the beach in Cape May, but some how manages to do wings well. Sad to see a place that I used to whole heartedly recommend to people as "as close as you will get out here to real pizza" become this tasteless pile of poorly prepared and presented crud.

Use to be good. Toppings are gross. No flavor and taste cheap cheap cheap. I had to peel off the pepperoni because it tasted so gamey. The sauce on the pie tasted like burnt garlic. There was a 5 thin slices of onion on the pie. Never again will I go back. They are getting cheap with quality of their food. Because it's thin crust I gave it a star. Other than that save your money and go to Joeys Pizza

I really like to support local business when I can, but Boriello Brothers has become so inconsistent with the quality of their pizza. The cheese is artificial. Half the time the slices taste like they were cooked three days ago - even when you're the first people in the place. Nothing worse than waiting for 20 minutes for slices that are leftovers from yesterday.

Slowest pizza joint ever! Pizza is good, but when it takes 1.5 hours to deliver a pizza to someone who lives 2 minutes away, something is not right! And then the pizza was stone cold...will never order from here again

We've eaten here twice because it is close to where we are staying. Calzone first time. It was very good. I liked the crust. Bathroom extremely dirty. Tonight we got the 2 for $12 pizza and it was good but nothing to brag about. Staff not super friendly but not rude either.

I am giving a 5-star due to the recent improvement of the joint's service. My wife and I like Boriello's because she has Celiac Disease and loves their gluten free crust. We have been to multiple locations around town and have visited the Centennial location probably 4-5x before our visit in July. There's a 5-star rating in July and I expect ratings to trend up if people get the service we got on our last visit. We came in with a Groupon and the employee taking our order was very helpful with giving us the gluten free options that we could do to honor it. We went and sat out on the patio with our dog. We were quickly brought our appetizers (salad and bread) and then had a follow up check by an employee to see how everything tasted. There was about a 10-12 minute window before our pizza came. Again, an employee came and checked in while bringing more napkins and cleaning off items that were ready to be picked up. To top it off, the manager came out and asked how everything was. The restaurant had it's normal sized crowd, so it's not like they were dead and had nothing else to do. So basically, we got discounted food with service that went above and beyond.

Terrible - just like the other Boriello locations. The quality of the Boriello brand has really degraded over the last few years. I visited for lunch - hoping to give another of their locations one last chance for redemption - ordered a couple of cheese slices. They were dry as a bone, flavorless and the crust tasted stale. They tasted like reheated, day-old, leftover pizza. I also noted the cannolis in the case under the register appeared to be melting and oozing out the sides like they weren't kept at the right temperature. Very disappointing. Boriello went from the best pizza in town to some of the worst.

Update: I said they were slow and they sent me a message asking me about my experience and said they wanted to make it right...so I told them what happened and they never responded, which in my opinion makes it even worse. Haven't been back.

Well, I happened to come in on a not-so-busy Saturday afternoon in order to try it out, being in the mood for some pizza with the family. My dad insisted we come, despite the protests of the rest of the family. From the moment we walked in, it was silent and rather empty, besides two small tables in the corners with some patrons. We got our appetizers within 10 minutes of ordering, which was okay, but the actually order wasn't ready after even 40 minutes. I was very disappointed to say the least, and especially given that the pizza was rather bland and just like any other place. It's not New York authentic pie, and it certainly sucks even more service wise.

Wish you could go lower. Don't order the specialty slice of the unless you want to wait twice as long as iy would take to make a whole pizza. I would understand once in awhile but seems like every time I order always out. Staff member said they run out, at noon? Really? Store seems over staffed and under skilled. Go next door to the Burrito place.

I ordered the large single-topping carry-out special at 11:00 AM and finally got my pizza at 11:50 AM. The staff's attitude sucked and it felt a little like because i didn't tip the attendant who took my order, that they would take their time in preparing my pizza. This suspicion was heightened when I got the pizza and the toppings were unusually scant. I won't order here again but will go to Roman Village on Nevada instead! An AWFUL experience..'

We ordered our pizza online at 5:57 PM. We received an email confirmation saying it would be delivered at 7:05. We called to check on the order at 7:10 and we were told it would be 20 minutes. We called back 20 minutes later and the girl questioned our assertion that we had ordered 1:30 ago. All they offered us was 25% off our next order. Pizza finally arrived at 7:57 and was ice cold. Sorry but I think we'll pass on that 25% discount on our next order. I'm thinking about driving the pizza up to store and throwing it in their face.

Incapable of getting a pizza to me while still hot. I have ordered delivery from this store a half dozen times over the past two years, and never once has it arrived edibly hot to my address, less than 2 miles from the store. If I order from them, I will only go pick it up, and only when they have a coupon going, to compensate me for the inconvenience.

Just waited 2 hours for a cold pizza. Spoke to a supervisor 2 x and driver once. Whoever took our order put the address in wrong - which was not corrected either time we called to check on it. Nor were we offered anything for the inconvenience of a two hour wait. Will not be ordering from Boriello Brothers again.

STAY AWAY FROM THE NON AUTHENTIC NEW YORK PIZZA.. Last week they gave us an old menu and today would not honor the prices. We did'nt know that we had an old menu., and after my husband placed the order and got the total, the prices seemed really high. Look, I'm not looking for a hand out, but how could a thin crust pizza, and a caprese salad and spinach salad add up to $48.00 bucks? Then you give me an attitude. Guess what, I'm a real New Yorker born and raised in the Bronx, and have been here for 5 years, so yes I know my pizza. Telling me I have a tone just shows your ignorance at what someone with a real AUTHENTIC New York accent sounds like. I asked to speak to a manager. Oh surprise no manager available. Boriello's has never been consistent, but it did fold. NEVER AGAIN will we spend one penny in your dump. I'll just order from Ray's in the Bronx, and he'll send up real New York Pizza on dry ice with a real calzone. Everyone, stay away Boriello's and their snotty rude staff. Plus why does YELP force me to give them a star? They deserve NOTHING. Save your money people and support other local businesses, not this place. Oh they are consistently rude that's for sure, and their pizza truly sucks anyway. Do not look at that star, it's not really there. Yelp needs to maybe add black stars for negative reviews, because that's what Borriello's reallly deserves.

I've been getting take out here since they've opened. Never horribly impressed with the service, but I usually pick up so it wasnt much of a concern. Pizza, normally pretty good. However today I experienced an extremely rude employee and soggy sandwiches. Watery marinara has no place on sandwiches. I understand people have bad days, but don't take it out on the customers. Especially when I was being really nice about their 40 min. wait when they said 15 min on the phone. Not making eye contact and making noises of disgust when other customers ask for something simple as in a side of ranch is just horrible customer service. Perhaps she should take a job in the back and not with the public.

Ordered three large pies to be delivered for a casual get together of eight people. Very nice on the phone and a timely delivery at 30 minutes. Pizza was packaged in a huge box (16 inches) and my hopes were very high but I found no joy with the pizza. Thin doughy crust and sparse toppings combine for a mediocre at best pizza experience with lots of leftovers. My guests voted with their appetites most stopping after one piece. $56 for this lesson, I will not repeat.

GLUTEN FREE PIZZA Close to the Town Place Suites that we stayed at. I was very disappointed w/ the ordering process for my pickup order. It took longer to order the pizza than for the company to make the pizza and me to drive there. I mentioned this to the person that picked up my order and he mentioned things were currently outsouced to another company and were moving this back to the stores shortly. The person I talked to mentioned this was a common complaint around the ordering the process which is why they were insourcing this... OUtside of the ordering issues the pizza was very good. I enjoyed the gluten free crust and it had a decent flavor as well. Good food if they can resolve the ordering problems they have.

Ambiance: Small restaurant, that once housed an Italian chain that folded a few years back. About a dozen or so tables. Large brick oven is visible behind counter. Order at counter, food is brought to your table. Service: Good, but uneventful. Food: This is one of your better pizza options in town (though their downtown location always tastes better.) Their pizza is more of a New York-style, thinner crust. Good sauce and cheese. Also, good salads and I really like their garlic knots, made of pizza dough. Overall, one of your better choices for pizza in Colorado Springs. Better than than the national chains for sure.

The pizza was very big, but also very thin. The toppings were good, but there were not enough of them. It also seemed light on the sauce and cheese. It was mostly bread. Their cheesy garlic bread is okay but lacks overall flavor.
